It's been awhile since I've updated and I wanted to make sure to post a long overdue "best of 2013" round up. It was a special year filled with special memories:
Here are some of my favorite memories in no particular order (except the last ones!).
Ringing in 2014 with some very loved friends and family in downtown Cleveland.
Ice Skating for the first time in over a decade with friends at Lock 3 last winter.
R and I going to the Gentlemen of the Road Music Festival and seeing Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zero's and Mumford & Sons live.. and camping for the first time together!
Family reunion with loved cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles in West Virginia. The highlight of this was having my sister and brother in law stay with us before and after the WV trip.
Visiting New York City for the first time in October.
Spending a week in Hilton Head Island with R and his family in May.
R and I spending a day in Charleston, South Carolina before meeting the family in Hilton Head.
Renting a pontoon boat with friends on the Portage Lakes this summer.
Not pictured but awesome experience: my time as a band-wife when Reed was in an awesome band that played out several times before the lead singer (and one of our best friends) moved to Willoughby.
Finally opening a little online Vintage Shop on Etsy.com
Styling a Stripes & Florals Collection for the Goodwill Fashion Show.
Spending 8 days in Los Angeles in February... absolutely amazing trip!
Our fancy Halloween with friends at the Masque of the Red Death Masquerade party at the Civic Theatre.
Picnic-ing by Lake Erie with friends and family in the summer.
Fostering Grace and finding her a good forever home.
Finding and purchasing our first single family home and the first home that we plan to stay in for awhile. (And having a dishwasher and garbage disposal for the first time in 2.5 years).
And the top moments of 2013 : Getting our first positive pregnancy test in 2+ years in September and finding out we're having a baby girl on December 23rd!
What a wonderful, blessed year!
